Viewing, adding and sharing Project Documents from the Hub

Updated this week

Who Can Use Project Documents?

  • Complete and Premium Customers:

    • Hub Admin and Hub User roles can control project document visibility in the App for site visitors.

What Are Project Documents and Where Can You Find Them?

Each project in HazardCo has a documents folder located at the bottom of the Project Overview page in the Hub.

Here, you can access all HazardCo reports (e.g., Site Reviews, Toolbox Meetings) linked to the project and any other uploaded documents.

Site owners can access project documents in the App after scanning on-site from the Documents area. You can also manage which documents are publicly visible after scanning on site.

Uploading Project Documents

  • Reports created by your team or any person scanned on site are automatically added to the Project Documents area.

  • Team members can upload documents from the Project Overview in the Hub. (Supported files: Documents: pdf, doc | Spreadsheets: xlsx, csv | Images: png, jpeg)

  • Other users can upload documents to your project plus site from the App Documents area

How To Make Project Documents Viewable in the App

In the Hub Project Overview you can mark documents as 'Viewable in the App', meaning that any user that scans on site will be able to access this document. Document visibility can also be managed from the App > Site Documents area.

To do this:

  1. Click the three-dot icon in the Options column of the Documents table.

  2. Select 'Show in App'.

  3. A 'Viewable in App' tag will appear in the Document Status column for documents visible to site visitors.

Automatically Make Project Documents Viewable in the App

To enable automatic visibility of project documents in the HazardCo App, follow these steps:

  1. Log into the Hub as a Hub Admin user.

  2. Navigate to the Company Settings page.

  3. Scroll down to the Project Settings section.

  4. Enable the option "Project documents automatically viewable in the App" and click 'Save' at the bottom of the page.

Please Note:

  • This setting applies to all projects within your company.

  • Existing project documents will not become viewable in the app after enabling this setting.

  • Any new documents added to a project after enabling this setting will automatically be made viewable in the App.
