Completing a Pre-qualification request
Completing a Pre-qualification request
Updated over a week ago
  1. Invitations to complete Pre-Qualifications are sent by email. The email will include the name of the company requesting you to complete a Pre-Qual. Click the 'Login' or ‘Create Password’ button to get started.

  2. You'll need to log into the HazardCo Hub to complete the requested Pre-Qual.

  3. Once you've logged into the Hub click on the "Pre-Qual Requests" option in the left hand menu. All of your Pre-qual requests that need to be completed are visible in the 'Active' tab and you can see all of your Completed Pre-Quals by clicking on the Completed tab. You can view and update any Pre-Qual documents that you uploaded by clicking on the Documents tab.

  4. Click on the Pre-Qual you wish to complete to start the guided Pre-Qual form. During Pre-Qual you will be asked to provide important information about your business and health and safety practices. Please note if you have completed a HazardCo Pre-Qual for another company already then all of your previously submitted information will be automatically populated the next time you start a Pre-Qual to speed up the submission process.

  5. If you have already completed an independent assessment you can upload this as evidence instead of completing sections 3-5 of the Pre-Qual. The expiry date of the HazardCo Pre-Qual will be set to the expiry date of the independent assessment uploaded.

  6. Automatic email reminders to complete outstanding Pre-Quals are sent to you every 48 hours if no action is taken.

  7. You can save your Pre-Qual progress as you go. This is helpful if you aren’t able to complete the Pre-Qual in one sitting, for example you don’t have all the required evidence on hand or need to stop in the middle for any reason. You can jump back in at any stage to finish the Pre-Qual, exactly where you left it, when you're ready to do so.

  8. For assistance you can hover your cursor over the ? at the end of the questions and it will provide more information to assist with answering the question.

  9. Throughout the Pre-Qual you will be asked to upload evidence, this might be a completed Toolbox Talk or Hazardous Substance Register (do not upload blank templates). You can upload .pdf, word, excel and image files, maximum of 25MB.

  10. Once you've completed all required fields (everything marked with a red asterisk) and uploaded all of the mandatory documents you will be able to submit your Pre-Qual for review. If you’ve missed any required fields the system will automatically highlight them when you click the submit button.

  11. If the person reviewing the Pre-Qual needs more information from you then you'll be sent an email asking you to update specific questions and resubmit the Pre-Qual. When you jump back into the Pre-Qual you will be able to see exactly where more information has been asked for.

  12. When your Pre-Qual is approved you'll be sent an email to let you know.

  13. The Approved status remains for 12 months from the date of approval, unless you submit an independent assessment the Pre-Qualification will default to the expiry date of that document (if due to expire in the next 12 months). The system automatically lets you know when documents are expiring so that you can update them and will let you know when you've been asked to resubmit any Pre-Quals.
