MedicarePro CRM integration

The MedicarePro CRM <> HealthSherpa Medicare integration allows you to sync contact data from MedicarePro directly into HealthSherpa Medicare.

This helps reduce duplicate entry and lets you jump straight from MedicarePro into quoting and enrollment on HealthSherpa Medicare.

What the integration does

  • Syncs contact data (see fields below) from MedicarePro → HS Medicare.

  • Add a HealthSherpa Medicare button to each MedicarePro contact, which lets you click directly into to their quoting & enrollment session, pre-filling the enrollment application, and eliminating dual entry.

Prerequisite

Make sure your HealthSherpa Medicare account email matches your MedicarePro account email.

Connecting the Integration


Connecting the integration uses a simple OAuth setup:

  1. In MedicarePro, go to Settings → Integration.

  2. Scroll to the HealthSherpa Medicare section and click the Connect button.

  3. If you're not already signed in to HealthSherpa, you'll be prompted to sign in.

  4. That's it! MedicarePRO and HealthSherpa Medicare are now integrated.

Important: Connections are agent-level. If you are part of an agency, each agent who'd like to integrate would each set it up for their own account, including the agency principal.

Syncing Contacts to HealthSherpa

  1. Open a client profile in MedicarePro.

  2. Click the Enroll button (top-right).

  3. MedicarePro will:

    • Create a new contact in HealthSherpa Medicare if no matching external_id is found, or

    • Update the existing contact if a matching external_id is found.

      • Note: Contacts are matched only by the external_id assigned when the contact is first created via the MedicarePro integration.)

  4. Click Continue to HealthSherpa Medicare to jump into that client’s quote.

Note: Each contact must be transferred one at a time. Data only transfers when you click Enroll – it does not automatically sync.

👉 That’s it! Once connected, you can sync any MedicarePro client to HealthSherpa Medicare in just a couple clicks.

Quoting on HealthSherpa Medicare

To hop into quote & enroll for your MedicarePro contacts, click that same Enroll button that's at the top right of the contact profile page:

You'll then see this pop-up. To enter the quote, click "Continue on HealthSherpa"

This drops you into the HealthSherpa Medicare quoting session for that particular synced contact – in their zip code and with their Extra Help level applied.

From there, you'll proceed into enrollment, which will be pre-filled with all of the synced data, which means no repetitive dual entry.

We'll sync these Contact data from MedicarePro to HealthSherpa Medicare:

  • Contact data

    • first_name

    • last_name

    • address_1

    • address_2

    • birth_date

    • city

    • email

    • extra_help

    • medicaid_eligible

    • medicaid_number

    • medicare_number

    • medicare_part_a_effective_date

    • medicare_part_b_effective_date

    • phone

    • sex

    • state

    • zip


Troubleshooting

My integration didn't connect, why?

  • Make sure you connected using the OAuth login flow described above.

  • Make sure your MedicarePro account email matches the email for your HealthSherpa Medicare account.

  • Clear cache & cookies for medicareproapp.com and medicareprocrm.com

  • If you’re part of an agency, confirm you individually connected your own account (rather than relying on your agency to connect it).

  • Disconnect the integration in MedicarePro, then Connect it again.

My contacts aren't syncing, why?

  • Make sure you connected using the OAuth login flow described above.

  • Make sure your MedicarePro account email matches the email for your HealthSherpa Medicare account.

  • If you have multiple HealthSherpa Medicare accounts, make sure you integrated while being logged into the right one. If you're not sure, Disconnect the integration in MedicarePro, log into the right HealthSherpa Medicare account, then Connect it again.

  • If you're using MedicarePro with your agency, make sure that you are the user/agent assigned to the contact in MedicarePro.

  • Clear cache & cookies for medicareproapp.com and medicareprocrm.com

Can I sync the contact's drugs, pharmacies, providers?
