RetireFlo is a platform to distribute and manage insurance surveys for Medicare and ACA Agents.

Our RetireFlo integration allows you to automatically sync RetireFlo survey data – contact details, drugs, pharmacies, and providers – directly into HealthSherpa Medicare.

This makes it easier for agents using RetireFlo to collect surveys, run quotes, and complete enrollments without manual dual data entry.

Connecting RetireFlo

1. Log in to RetireFlo. Go to your RetireFlo dashboard and click on Integrations

2. Select HealthSherpa. Choose HealthSherpa from the list of available integrations:

3. Authorize the connection

  • You’ll be redirected to HealthSherpa Medicare.

  • If you're not already logged in, you'll be prompted to log in.

  • You'll be taken to this screen – click the Authorize button:

4. Connect your RetireFlo surveys
After authorization, you’ll be redirected back to RetireFlo where you can select which survey(s) you'd like to connect to your account.

Sync trigger

Once the integration is set up, any RetireFlo survey you connect to HealthSherpa Medicare will automatically sync all future survey submissions into your HealthSherpa Medicare contacts.

Deduplication logic

To prevent duplicates, we run a two-step check before creating a new contact:

  1. First name + email

  2. First name + phone number

If a matching contact is found for either of those combinations in HealthSherpa Medicare, the contact is updated. If no match is found, a new contact is created.

Data handling

Create vs. Update and Lead vs Client

  • Newly created contacts default to type = lead

  • Updates to contacts preserve type, (e.g. if an agent already promoted a lead to client, the integration won’t overwrite that).

Overwrites

Drug, pharmacy, and provider lists are fully replaced on update (not merged). This ensures HealthSherpa reflects the most recent RetireFlo survey.

For example, if your existing contact record for Jane Doe has providers A, B, and C – then Jane completes a RetireFlo survey listing providers A and B, then the contact will update to reflect only providers A and B.

FAQ

Can I connect more than one RetireFlo account to my HealthSherpa Medicare account?

No, each RetireFlo integration is tied to a single HealthSherpa agent account, preventing duplicate integrations.

Can I remove the integration?

Yes, after you've added the integration, if you want to remove it, go to RetireFlo, click into the HealthSherpa Medicare integration, and you'll see a Delete Integration button.
