How to manage tags

Tags help organize evidence by issue, theme, or pattern to support case analysis.

Updated over a week ago

This article explains how to create, edit, and delete tags in Case Settings. You can view all existing tags for a case, add new ones, and manage them from a single dashboard. Tags created here can be used throughout the case, including while reviewing conversations or running exports.

Overview

Tags can be created and managed from Case Settings or directly while reviewing extracted conversations. They allow you to group messages by issue, theme, or relevance.

You can:

  • Create, rename, or delete tags from Case Settings

  • Create tags directly while reviewing messages

  • Tag individual messages or apply tags to multiple messages in bulk

  • Tag messages by keyword search results

  • Export tag reports for production or analysis
