Manage account access

Use the Team Management page to view, invite, and manage access for all users in your firm’s Hearsay account.

This article shows where to find Team Management and how to use both tabs. You’ll learn what’s on Active Members (edit roles, send password resets, remove users) and Invites (resend or delete pending invitations). It also walks through sending a new invite and what to expect after you make changes.


Overview

Active Members: List of all users with access, showing name, email, role, and last active. Actions: Edit role, Send reset password link, Delete user.

Invites: List of pending invitations, showing email, role, and invitation date. Actions: Resend Invite, Delete invite.


Find the Team Management page

Step 1: Log in

Go to your Hearsay web portal and sign in.

Step 2: Open Team Management

Click Team in the left panel to open the Team Management page.


Edit User Permissions​

Step 1: Click Edit

From the Team Management page, make sure the Active Members tab is selected. Find the user and click Edit to open their details.

Step 2: Select new permission

Use Role to switch between Admin, Member, or Client. Name and email can’t be changed.

Step 3: Save changes

Click Save to apply updates.​


Delete User

Step 1: Click Edit

From the Team Management page, make sure the Active Members tab is selected. Find the user and click Edit to open their details.

Step 2: Click Delete

Click Delete User.

Step 3: Confirm Delete

Click Confirm Delete to complete removing the user.


Send Reset Password Link

Step 1: Click Edit

From the Team Management page, make sure the Active Members tab is selected. Find the user and click Edit to open their details.

Step 2: Click Reset

Click Send Reset Password Link to trigger an email to the user.


​Invite a new team member

Step 1: Start an invite

Click Invite Team Member in the top-right.

Step 2: Enter details

Add the person’s Name and Email, and check Grant Admin Permissions if needed. Then click Invite.

Admin Permissions: Admins can view and export data from all cases in the account.

Confirm success

A green banner confirms the invite was sent and the invite appears under Invites. When an invite is accepted, the user moves from Invites to Active Members automatically.


Manage pending invites

Step 1: Open Invites

Click the Invites tab to see pending invitations.

Resend an invite

Click Resend Invite to send a fresh email.

Delete an invite

Step 1: Click Delete

Click Delete next to the invite you want to cancel.


Step 2: Confirm deletion

Click Delete Invite in the confirmation window.
