This article explains how to set communication preferences for client support, manage white-glove service approvals, and set a hardware ordering budget for client extractions. Each section below matches what you see on the Organization tab in your Settings.
Find Organization Settings
Step 1: Log in
Go to your Hearsay web portal and sign in.
Step 2: Open Settings
Click Settings in the left panel.
Step 3: Select Organization
From the top of the Settings page, click the Organization tab.
Set client communication preferences
Choose how Hearsay communicates with your team and your clients when support issues arise.
Step 1: Select a communication option
CC me or my team when you contact my clients
Hearsay will copy your team on client communications about extraction issues. You can enter multiple support email addresses separated by commas.
Don’t CC me with extraction errors
Hearsay will contact the client directly but not copy your inbox.
Don’t contact my clients
Hearsay will coordinate support directly with the extraction code creator instead of contacting the client.
Step 2: Save changes
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Manage white-glove service settings
Control whether clients can add Hearsay’s white-glove managed service to their extractions automatically.
Step 1: Enable or disable approvals
Check or uncheck Allow my clients to add white-glove managed service to their extractions without approval.
Step 2: Choose a billing method
Select whether to Charge the card on file or Charge the client directly for managed services.
Step 3: Save changes
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Manage client hardware orders
Allow clients to order required hardware for extractions up to a set amount.
Step 1: Enable hardware ordering
Check Allow clients to order hardware when required for their extractions.
Step 2: Set a budget
Enter the Max budget without approval in the box provided.
Step 3: Save changes
Click Save Changes to confirm.
