By connecting GitHub to Height, you can link tasks with branches, pull requests, and commits, making it easy to automatically track progress and updates.

For example, you can quickly see which tasks have an associated pull request or branch:

Using a unique Height task ID, you can automatically link tasks with a corresponding GitHub branch, pull request, or commit.

You can also set linked Height tasks to automatically get marked as "Done" (or any custom status you set in preferences) when a pull request or commit is merged.

To connect GitHub, go to your Product settings → Integrations → GitHub and tap Connect GitHub.

This will prompt you to sign in to GitHub to connect your account. Once you successfully connect your account, you'll be able to use the Merge Requests and Branches attributes across Height.
