Subscription Upgrades lets customers switch eligible products in their cart from a one-time purchase to a subscription. This helps increase recurring revenue by letting customers choose a subscription option directly in the cart drawer.
Where it appears
When enabled, the subscription upgrade selector appears under each eligible cart item.
Eligibility
Only products with selling plans are eligible.
If a product does not have selling plans, no subscription option appears.
Prevent downgrades
When enabled, customers cannot switch from subscription back to one-time purchase inside the cart drawer.
This may increase cart abandonment, so use it when you want to enforce subscription selection.
