Step 1: Click "Create funnel page"
From the Funnel Pages management screen, click the Create funnel page button in the top-right corner. This will take you to the funnel page creation wizard.
Step 2: Select Content Type
You must choose one of two content types:
Option A: Listicle
Selection: Click on the "Listicle" card (it will be highlighted with a blue border when selected)
Description: "Numbered list format. Great for 'Top 10' style content."
Best for:
Products with multiple distinct benefits
Quick-read content that's easy to scan
Comparison-style marketing
SEO-friendly content with clear structure
Output Example: "8 Reasons Why [Product] Could Be the Secret to [Benefit]"
Option B: Advertorial
Selection: Click on the "Advertorial" card
Description: "Editorial article style. Perfect for storytelling."
Best for:
Products that require explanation or education
Building trust through narrative content
Complex products with multiple features
Creating an authentic, non-salesy feel
Step 3: Select Theme
Click on the Select theme dropdown menu
Choose the theme where you want to add your generated content
The available themes will be listed (e.g., "Atlas Theme 35")
📍 Important Note About Theme Location:
The generated funnel page will be added to your selected theme as a Page, not as a product page or blog post. After importing, you can find your content by navigating to:
Online Store → Themes → [Your Theme] → Customize → Pages
This is where all imported funnel pages will appear and can be accessed.
Step 4: Select Product
Click the Browse products button next to the "Select product" field
A product picker will appear showing all products in your Shopify store
Select the product you want to create content for
The selected product will appear with its thumbnail image and price
The AI will use all available product information including:
Product title
Product description
Product images
Price
Variants (if applicable)
Any metafields or additional product data
Step 5: Add Custom Context (Optional but Recommended)
The Custom context field allows you to provide additional instructions and information to the AI to personalize your generated content. While optional, adding context significantly improves the quality and relevance of your funnel page.

Step 6: Generate Your Funnel Page
Once you have:
✅ Selected a content type (Listicle or Advertorial)
✅ Selected a theme
✅ Selected a product
✅ Added custom context (optional)
Click the Generate Listicle button (or Generate Advertorial depending on your selection) in the top-right corner.
💡 Tip: The generate button may appear grayed out if you haven't selected a product. Ensure all required fields are completed before clicking.
The Generation Process
What Happens During Generation
When you click the generate button, Atlas initiates an AI-powered content creation process. You'll see a progress screen with the following stages:
Progress Indicator
A progress bar shows the overall completion percentage (e.g., "30% complete") with the heading "Crafting your listicle" (or advertorial).
Generation Stages
The AI goes through four distinct stages:

1. Fetching product data... | 📄 Document icon | Atlas retrieves all product information from your Shopify store |
2. AI analyzing your product... | ✨ Sparkle icon | The AI analyzes your product details, images, and custom context |
3. Creating listicle items... | 🏷️ Tag icon | The AI generates the content structure and individual list items/sections |
4. Preparing for preview... | ✓ Check icon | Final formatting and preview generation |
Background Processing
An important feature is displayed at the bottom of the generation screen:
"You can close this page and come back later. Your content will continue generating in the background."
This means:
You don't need to keep the browser tab open
Generation continues on Atlas servers
You can return to the Funnel Pages list later
The status will update when generation is complete
While You Wait
During generation, you'll see helpful tips in a "While we craft your listicle..." box, such as:
"Listicles are great for showcasing product benefits. AI is crafting compelling copy for your product."
How Long Does Generation Take?
Most funnel pages generate within 1-3 minutes. Complex products or detailed custom contexts may take slightly longer.
