Method:

  • Examine each room of the home from top to bottom.

  • Look at the small details of each room for maintenance issues and broken or damaged items, including furniture.

  • Make note of any strong odors that require special attention.

  • Decide what the overall state of the home is (a Member is currently living in the home, a Member just moved out, the home is ready for a new Member to move in)

  • Report any major cleaning issues to HQ via chat and through the forms in your job before fixing them. (photos of these issues are greatly appreciated)

  • Ensure that the WiFi works by connecting to it and completing a Speed Test.

  • Confirm all necessary access items are in the home.

Action Steps:

  • Correct all cleaning issues

  • Eliminate any odors

  • Collect all trash in preparation to clean the unit to Landing Standards

  • Report any issues with furniture in housewares in the forms in your job or to HQ

  • Submit all maintenance requests through the Host App

Reviewing the Property

  • Review the "Things to Know" section of your job.

  • Report any major construction that is happening on or very close to the property to HQ.

  • Familiarize yourself with the location of the amenities, parking, mailroom, and trash area for the property.
