Saving custom patient lists to your team

We've introduced the ability to add new custom patient lists to your Isla landing page. These are saved filtered lists, using any combination of filters that's relevant to your workflow, and are configured at a team level. This means that all users within that team will be able to see and use this list, which will continuously update with the relevant set of patients. We hope this a useful way to organise your patient list and support new users onboarding to Isla in your team so they can easily find their patients.

You can save any combination of filters as a patient list that your whole team will be able to see on the left hand side of the patient list. This includes patient labels which allows you to create any filter you'd like. You can read more about patient labels in this help article or get in touch with your Isla project manager

When clicking into this view you will be able to see at the top which filters have been pre-selected as part of the configuration set. For example, below you can see a custom patient list which shows all patients in Clinic A today. (There are no patients showing here as this is a demo environment).

You can create a custom patient list by clicking on the 'Create new custom list' button on the left panel of your screen. You'll be taken to choose the team you would like to saved to. Everyone in this team will be able to see this patient list and it will be filtered based on this team.

Once you have selected a team you will be shown the options in which you can refine this custom list by:

  • Created by - if a patient's record was manually created in Isla the creators email will be in this filter

  • Appointment filters - patients within a clinic pulled through via the integration set up with your EPR. (Not all organisations have this configured).

    • Clinic date - date of the clinic / appointment

    • Description / Assigned clinician - Clinic code

    • Clinic type - Clinic code

  • Ward - which ward your patient is within, if applicable

  • Patient labels - You are also able to refine this list based on any labels set up for your team. These are essentially configurable filters, which can be manually added to patients. If you can't see these here and you are interested in setting this up, you can read more about patient labels in this help article or get in touch with your Isla project manager
