Notabene’s VASP Network provides a database of VASP profiles which they can leverage as a part of their Counterparty Due Diligence process. The VASP network provides vital information on your counterparty VASPs as well as gives you information about reachability and where they are in their own Travel Rule implementation.

In your production environment you can find the VASP network at the top near the ‘Dashboard’ tab. Alternatively, you can access the VASP Network in production by accessing this link.

A new entry can be created when a Travel Rule message involves a VASP that is not yet on the list or when a customer creates a new organization. When this happens in test, the VASP will appear instantly while for production, the VASP has to be approved by our team before becoming visible in the VASP network.

What data is accessible from here?

We provide data that is made available by the VASPs themselves and data provided by VASPnet, a platform that provides regulatory reference data on VASPs such as their licensing status, jurisdiction, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This collaboration solves a crucial challenge presented by FATF’s Travel Rule requiring businesses to carry out due diligence on their counterparty VASPs before exchanging Travel Rule data transfers with them.

By selecting one of the VASPs you can access useful information for your counterparty due diligence process, such as:

  • Incorporation information

  • Travel rule status

  • Jurisdiction Regulatory Status

  • VASPnet data

  • EDD questionnaire

In addition, Notabene badges provide insight into a company's reachability and accuracy regarding the information presented.
