2 Step Pro Model

Written by Hex Funded

The 2-Step Pro Model is designed for traders who can demonstrate strong consistency and disciplined performance across two evaluation phases. This model features a trailing drawdown and a consistency rule, making it a more advanced and realistic trading experience than the Standard model.

Key Features

  • Two-phase evaluation

  • Trailing drawdown for dynamic risk scaling

  • Consistency rule to encourage stable, even performance

  • No time limit

  • Designed for traders who prefer tighter risk controls and a more advanced evaluation structure

Evaluation Phase Requirements

Phase 1

  • Profit Target: 9%

  • Minimum Trading Days: 4 (each with at least 0.5% profit)

  • All drawdown and risk rules apply throughout

Phase 2

  • Profit Target: 5%

  • Minimum Trading Days: 4 (each with at least 0.5% profit)

  • All drawdown and risk rules apply throughout

Once both phases are completed, your account undergoes a full manual review by our Risk Team. If approved, you will receive your funded account.

Risk Parameters

Max Daily Drawdown: 4%

The maximum your account equity can lose within a single trading day is 4% of your initial account balance.

The daily limit resets at 00:00 UTC. At reset, the system takes the higher of your balance or equity as the starting point for the new day. Your equity must not fall more than 4% from that value at any point during the trading day.

Example:

  • Initial balance: $100,000

  • Daily loss limit: $4,000

  • Equity must not fall below $96,000 at any point during the trading day

Maximum Total Drawdown: 7% (Trailing)

The maximum total drawdown is a 7% trailing limit based on your initial account balance.

  • The limit trails upward as your equity reaches new highs

  • It is calculated as your highest equity point minus 7% of your initial balance

  • It never moves downward

Example:

  • Initial balance: $100,000 - Max drawdown limit starts at $93,000

  • Equity reaches $110,000 - Max drawdown limit moves up to $103,000

  • Your equity must never fall below the current locked value at any time

Consistency Rule: 30% (Funded Account)

No single trading day may represent 30% or more of your total profit within a payout cycle. This rule does not breach the account - it delays payout eligibility until your profits are more evenly distributed.

Example:

  • Your best day: $1,500 profit

  • 30% of total profits must not exceed $1,500

  • You must reach at least $5,000 in total profit before requesting a payout

Max Risk Rule (Funded Account Only): 2.5% - Violating this is a hard breach and results in immediate account termination.

Minimum Trading Days (Funded Account)

To be eligible for payouts on your funded account, you must complete 4 separate qualifying trading days, each with a minimum of 0.5% profit. These days do not need to be consecutive.
