My Manager's Token is Invalid / My Invitation has expired

What to do in the event a managers invite token to a Hinterview becomes invalid

Sometimes when a manager attempts to view a Hinterview, they will be told their "invite token" is invalid. So how do we resolve this?

The first thing to check is if the manager is trying to use the invite link to log back in again. In this case, simply remind them that they need to login via "hello.hinterview.com" using their login details.ย 

However, if this still doesn't work, simply resend the invite to your manager using the following method.

How to:

  1. Open the Manager's page inside of Hinterview

  2. Click "Copy Invite Link" to create a fresh link.

  3. Either hit send invite to send via the platform / or paste the link in to an email to the manager.

In essence you are repeating the process of sending the invitation to the manager.

In essence, the sooner the link is opened, the less likely the link is to become invalid. For security reasons the link will expire after 24 hours so it is best to make sure they know ahead of time that you are sending the invite. You can also copy the invite link to send in your own email too!

Solution (Recruiters)

Recruiters can only be invited in to the platform by admin users. Admins can invite/re-invite their team mates. If a user's invitation is expired, ask an admin to:

  • Log In

  • Open "Settings"

  • Click "User Administration"

  • Find the name and click "Re-invite"

This will send the consultant a new email to accept the invitation. Please check spam and junk email folders if it does not come through.

If the invitation has already been accepted, then simply go to the Hinterview Sign in page and click "Forgot your password?"
