Need your contacts for a newsletter, CRM, or reporting? The Export Contacts button starts a background job, notifies you of progress, and serves up a handy download link when it’s ready. Follow the simple steps below. Screenshot placeholders are marked for easy replacement.
1. Click Export Contacts
Look for the button in the top-right corner of the Contacts tab. If you’ve already clicked once, the button greys out so you don’t trigger duplicates.
2. Watch the Toast Notifications
Toast Message | What It Means |
Initiating export… | We’ve queued your job—hang tight. |
(Nothing visible) | We keep intermediate “Running” states quiet so you’re not spammed. |
Your export is ready! + Download button | Job finished—click to grab the CSV. |
Export failed | Something went wrong; try again later. |
You can navigate anywhere in the dashboard while the export runs—the toast will pop up when it’s done.
3. Download the File
Click Download on the success toast.
A new tab opens and the CSV begins downloading automatically.
Open it in Excel, Google Sheets, or import into your CRM of choice.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Fix |
No toast appears | Check browser pop-up blockers or refresh the page and try again. |
Export failed | Click Export Contacts again; intermittent network hiccups can happen. |
Large teams | Very big lists may take a minute—leave the tab open until you see the ready toast. |
