How do I update or remove my payment method?

Hometown does not store your payment information. When you purchase tickets through Hometown, your payment is securely processed by Stripe, a trusted third-party payment provider. Because Link is managed directly by Stripe (not Hometown), you'll need to manage your saved payment information through your Link account.

What is Stripe Link?

When you enter your payment information during a Hometown purchase, you may have the option to save it to Link. This lets you check out faster in the future - not just on Hometown, but anywhere Link is accepted. We enable this feature because it decreases the likelihood of mis-typed payment information.

How to update or remove your payment method

Option 1: Manage your Link account

If you'd like to update your payment information inside Stripe Link:

  1. Go to app.link.com

  2. Log in using the email address you used during checkout

  3. Verify your identity with the one-time code sent to your phone

  4. From your account dashboard, you can add, update, or remove saved payment methods

Option 2: Delete your Link account entirely

If you'd like to remove all your saved payment information from Stripe Link:

  1. Visit support.link.com and search for 'how to delete payment information' or access the page here

  2. Follow the prompts to submit your email address

  3. Complete the verification steps to confirm the deletion

โš ๏ธ Please note: Deleting your Link account will remove all saved payment methods, shipping addresses, and any active subscriptions linked to the account.
