General Rules for Ticket Transfers

Before getting started, here are some general guidelines to keep in mind:

  • Only the original ticket purchaser can reclaim and re-transfer tickets.

  • Tickets can typically be transferred a maximum of two times total.

  • Only one ticket can be transferred at a time; repeat the process for each ticket if needed.

Resolving Ticket Transfer Errors

1. Wrong Phone Number or Email

If you sent the ticket to the wrong phone number or email address, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Hometown Fan App or the events.hometownticketing.com.

  2. Go to the Tickets section and select the event.

  3. Choose the ticket that was sent incorrectly.

  4. Tap Reclaim to retrieve the ticket back from the recipient’s account.

  5. Tap Transfer Ticket and enter the correct phone number or email address.

  6. The recipient will receive a new QR code to scan at the event.

2. Wrong Recipient Name

If the ticket was transferred to a person with the wrong name, you’ll need to reclaim and resend it to the correct recipient. Here’s how:

  1. Reclaim the ticket from the incorrect recipient. This can only be done by the original ticket purchaser.

  2. Transfer the ticket again by selecting it in the HomeTown app or website and using the Transfer Ticket option.

  3. Repeat these steps for each ticket if more than one transfer is needed.
