The new Home screen makes it easier for your learner to start playing right away, with a simple tap of the big circle play button. After they tap, your child will continue learning at the Step and Lesson where they left off, or where they’ve been placed based on the questions you answered during the onboarding. They’ll keep progressing through activities (with brain breaks mixed in) unless they tap the Back button to exit the activity.
To switch between subjects (Phonics, Spelling, or Math) tap the arrow icon above or below the big play button on the Home screen.
For new Math users, you will need to respond to a few simple questions on the first visit to place the child in the appropriate starting section. All learners will start at the beginning of Hooked on Spelling.
