How do I report an App issue?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If you're experiencing an issue with the App that cannot be resolved by Troubleshooting, you may submit a request to the Customer Care Team via the messaging icon below. For efficiency, please include the following information in your inquiry:

  • A brief description of your issue

  • A short video or relevant screenshots

  • The tech specs of the device(s) where the issue is occurring: device model, operating system version, and App version number (See Below)

    • Example: iPad Pro, iPadOS 17.1, App version 7.2.07

  • The troubleshooting measures you have already taken

  • Confirm if the issue is occurring on more than one device

Where are my device specs?

You can find the device specifications within the Hooked on Phonics App! Access the Grown-Up menu (purple gear icon at top of Home page), enter your birth date, and select the Help tab. Click Device Specifications. You can click Copy and paste into your message to us, or send us a screenshot.

How do I find the amount of RAM on my Amazon device?

First, use the Settings Menu
Go to Settings on your tablet.

  • Tap on Device Options.

  • Tap on About Fire Tablet (or similar wording).

  • Look for Device Model โ€” it may not list RAM directly, but you can use the model name to look it up online.

Note: Amazon tablets typically donโ€™t show RAM info directly in settings, but the model number can tell you.

Then, look Up Specs by Model

  • Once you have the model name (e.g., Fire HD 10 11th Gen), search online for:

Amazon Fire HD 10 11th Gen RAM specs

For example:

Fire 7 (12th Gen): 2 GB RAM

Fire HD 8 (10th Gen): 2 GB or 3 GB RAM (Plus model)

Fire HD 10 (11th Gen): 3 GB or 4 GB RAM (Plus model)
