At TRIBBU, your safety and peace of mind are our top priority.
That’s why we’ve implemented a trip verification system.
✅ Trip Verification in TRIBBU
Trip verification is the system we use to ensure shared rides are real, safe, and valid.
It’s very important because:
🔒 Builds trust: you know the other person really travelled with you.
👀 Prevents mistakes: ensures the recorded trip is correct.
🏆 Counts towards the Energy Bonus: only verified trips generate financial incentives.
🚗 How does verification work now?
With the new system, it’s much easier:
The app will ask you to confirm the start and end of the trip with a single button.
Background location is used to certify that driver and passenger shared the trip.
Steps appear on screen with a very clear design, so you can’t get it wrong.
👤 If you’re a driver
Start the trip from your app as soon as you leave.
Your passengers will receive a notification to join the trip.
During the trip, the app will mark pick-up and arrival points.
When you arrive at your destination, tap End trip.
👥 If you’re a passenger
When your driver starts, you can tap Start trip in your app.
When you reach your destination, tap End trip.
✅ Done! The trip will be recorded and verified.
ℹ️ Important things to keep in mind
A passenger can only start the trip if the driver has already done so.
The pick-up order doesn’t matter: all passengers will be verified equally.
If you forget to end the trip, the app will register it automatically so you don’t lose it.
For the trip to be valid, driver and passenger must be within a close radius and in a reasonable timeframe.
