As part of British Dressage’s Equine Welfare strategy, and to support data collection for rule updates and identifying common trends, British Dressage have requested that all eliminations and their respective reasons be recorded. Horse Monkey has updated the Dressage Scoring template to now include the elimination reason and this will be submitted automatically to them in the usual way of transferring results.
How to record the Elimination Reason/s
Select your judge/s and then Dressage Template, Team Quest Template or PYO Template as you do in the usual way
Start scoring the class in the usual way
When you need to update an Eliminated rider, in the status box add an "E" this will then show you a dropdown of reasons to select that have been set out by British Dressage.
Save Result
You can record more than one reason if you need to, just select the first one and then add the additional reasons.
You do not have to do any more than that, once the whole event has finished then you hit the "Transfer" button and the results including the elimination reasons record are sent to British Dressage as normal.
