Some Show Organisers and Riding Clubs offer membership discounts on entry fees for certain events they are holding.

You would already have a membership number issued by the organiser, as you enter the event and pick your first class, add rider then add horse a new screen will load so you can add your membership/organiser number like below

When you get to the checkout stage, you will see the discount is applied to the final total you have to pay. Once you have entered your number on an entry the system will save and remember for the next time you enter with this organiser.

If you are entering a membership number on an event and your discount amount is not applying to your class entry fee, the best thing would be to contact the organiser of the event directly to make sure they check the membership list they have registered and that your membership number is saved on their list and matches what you are inputting.
