This is how payments work for you.

Before you get paid, you need to create your event … and in order to take payments you need to connect your account to a payment processor. We have partnered with Stripe to make the process extra easy for you.

We have chosen Stripe for the following reasons:-

  • Lower fees.

  • Better checkout experience.

  • More reliable service.

  • Better customer support.

  • Fast rolling payout to your bank account.

How do you connect your Horse Monkey account with Stripe?

Signing up is really easy, and we help you through the process. All you have to do is go to Settings and we will help you do the rest!

How much are payment processing fees?

You can find more detail on the prices via Stripe's pricing page and PayPal's website.

Could you avoid payment processing fees?

You could avoid payment processing fees by taking payment in cash or bank transfers, but doing so does take away from the convenience of having a time saving efficient process in place.

Think about it … Horse Monkey + Stripe allows you to:-

  4. Pre Authorise bookings and automatically issue charges at the end of your event (* this is only available for Professional accounts).

You can however transfer our fee and even build your own administration fee into your events if you want to do so. You could set this at an amount that would offset your payment processing fees. This is completely optional, so it's up to you whether you want to pass this cost on or not.

How and when will I get my money?

The money is sent instantly to your Stripe account.

Stripe will then typically pay out to your bank account 7 days after the money was paid to you or you can configure it to pay out in set amounts at a time that is convenient for you, e.g. at the end of the month.

Is it secure?

Yes, absolutely! Stripe is accredited with level 1 PCI/DSS compliance which is the highest level of security compliance for the payments industry.
