Our new Education module can accommodate all types of training sessions, from Camps and Coaching Sessions to Demo’s or Courses. Education event settings allow you to take advantage of unique functionality to manage all types of training and education events, this configuration allows you to

  • Define participation for individuals with or without horses

  • Structure the timing of your training sessions and

  • Offer your clients direct and private feedback on completion

Creating an event

To create a Training / Education event simply create a new event, and select the event type as Educational.

Groups and items

Groups and Items give you the ability to configure your event to suit your needs. There are multiple ways of setting up your event …

  • You can utilise items to set up time slots giving your clients the freedom to select the best time for them and minimising the amount of time you will require to organise the training day.

  • Or, if you prefer to be in total control, you can of course organise your day making use of the times.

Here is an example of how you can configure a group of training sessions,

.

Defining a target (another way of saying who a training item is for)

When adding an item to this type of event, you can select the target type as a combination, or only athlete for events without a horse, giving you complete flexibility.

Organising your training / education day

Take advantage of our start list / times tool to organise your day, you can organiser your training for one on one sessions or grouping more than one attendee in one slot. For more information on how to create a start list you can refer to this article … https://intercom.help/horsemonkey/en/articles/5911118-event-times-start-lists

Questions

You can also take advantage of the ability to ask your clients questions on events, this can be done on an event level or on a per item basis and allows you to capture a multitude of details.

A little word of advice, to make sure your clients have a great experience, always remember to keep your questions relevant and to a minimum.

To add questions, select Advanced mode and then add your questions - our platform will keep a bank of these questions so you can use them again in the future.

You can retrieve the answers from the event reports summary.

Results and feedback.

The results of training events can be reported in different formats, deciding the format will depend on how you want to communicate with your clients. To update these details During/ after the event, go to the results section, find the class you want to update, and click edit.

Then access the individual attendee line …

And record the riders attendance & status, and click save. Once all results have been recorded you will be able to provide feedback.

To provide feedback, click on the three dots next to the attendee and select Feedback to competitor.

This feedback is exclusive to the attendee that it is sent to, and is not visible to any other participants of the event. You can provide feedback in multiple formats, text or a score sheet uploaded as an image.

How do participants / athletes get their feedback

Once the organiser has saved and sent the feedback, participants / athletes will receive an email containing any feedback and documents attached.

Here is an example of a feedback email.
