This article explains the various options you have to facilitate booking payments for your clients when you have the Professional Horse Monkey package.
As with all of the packages clients can book and pay online.
The following explains your options as an organiser:
Horse Monkey Professional Package
At checkout you have 2 options:
Pay Now or Defer Payment
Pay Now
You have 3 options here:
Stripe - enter card details and the booking is complete
Complimentary - adds a booking without taking payment
Other - record payment has been made by a different method eg Cash, Debit Card, BACS and Cheque
Defer Payment
You have 3 options:
we will explain each one in turn:
Request authorisation:
Used for when the client is not in front of you
Sends a link to the selected email address
Can be sent to a Horse Monkey account holder or a 3rd party
Simply provide the security code that is generated to the person paying so they can complete the payment
Horse Monkey account managers can also access via their own Dashboard > Pending links
Completing the payment link authorises the card only - payment is not taken at this stage
Bookings will show as Pending Payment Authorised Card
Additional bookings can be added to this authorisation

Authorise:
Used for when the client is face to face
Input the card details directly on to the Stripe payment screen
Again this authorises the card - payment is not taken at this stage
Bookings will show as Pending Payment Authorised Card
Additional bookings can be added to this authorisation

Outstanding:
The booking is complete but shows as Pending Payment Outstanding
Gives the functionality for additional bookings to be added
Payment can be taken at the end of the event or a Payment link can be generated to clear the outstanding balance
