Where are these found?
These are found by going to your Dashboard > Financials > Bookings:
Pending Payment Authorised Card
What does this status mean?
A payment link has been generated and actioned OR
The Authorise process has been successfully completed
The payment has not been taken - the "tab" is still open
The booking can be easily added to or edited
How can I take the payment and close the booking?
There are several ways to do this:
If Auto Charge is activated the payments will be taken at the end of the event
All successful payments will change to a status of PAID Stripe
Failed payments will remain as Pending so you can follow up
To manually charge and close the booking:
From the booking line 3 dots menu, you can select:
Charge Now (for Premium accounts)
Use the authorised card to complete the transaction
Balance Event Now (for Professional accounts)
Choose to complete the process by selecting Stripe
Choose to use the authorised card to complete the transaction or
Input new card details
Booking status > PAID Authorised Card
Alternatively you can use one of the other methods to record payment eg Cash, Debit Card, BACS, etc
Booking status would reflect the method recorded eg Paid Debit card
Both of the above options can also be accessed from the Event Summary:
You can also select Generate Payment Link - this generates a new Pay Now link which you can email and action in the same way as other links:
This generates a Pay Now link for all of the related bookings and all of the outstanding amounts
It is actioned in the same way as all other generated links
