Scheduling Reports

Updated over 2 years ago

Power Reports gives you the flexibility to schedule your own reports. This means you can arrange for reports to be sent to yourself and other team members on a regular basis.

HOW TO SCHEDULE A POWER REPORT

Within your folder structure, find the report you wish to schedule and select the context icon to the right of the report name, then select Schedule Report:

From here, complete the relevant steps.

  • Add a Schedule Name

  • Select an Export type (PDF, Excel etc).

  • If required, add in a password for the report extract

  • Input the scheduled time that you'd like the report to be sent at (keep in mind, this time is set at AEST)

  • Set your recurrence pattern

  • Set the range of recurrence

Once you've completed those components, select Next. You'll then be taken to the Filter page where you can review and amend any filters set on your report.

From that page, select Next again, and you'll be taken to the Recipients page.

Here, you can input the e-mail address for those that need to receive a copy of the scheduled report. You can then update the Subject line of the e-mail as required, and the email text. Once happy, select Finished.

HOW TO CHANGE OR EDIT A SCHEDULED REPORT?

If you need to make a change to the scheduling of a report, select the 'Manage Scheduled Reports' icon from the left-hand panel as seen below:

Once on the Manage Scheduled Reports page, find the scheduled report that requires adjusting and move to the very right of that row. You will have the option to edit the scheduling of the report using the pencil/edit icon, or you can delete the scheduling by selecting the red cross.

Note that deleting the scheduling of a report will not delete the report itself, this will still be available.

When you select the Edit icon, you will be taken back to the scheduled report wizard as instructed above.
