This guide explains how to integrate Teamtailor with Humaans to sync newly hired employee data into Humaans. Once the integration is configured and a new candidate is hired in Teamtailor, their information will automatically sync in a new hire profile in Humaans.
Before you begin
This integration currently allows for importing of newly hired employee data from Teamtailor to Humaans.
After an employee is marked as Hired in Teamtailor and synced to Humaans, any further changes to their data in Teamtailor won’t map automatically. Humaans becomes the single source of truth.
If an employee has already been added to Humaans before their status is changed to Hired in Teamtailor, they will be skipped and the data will remain the same in Humaans. This is tracked in the logs.
Only add the Send Humaans candidate trigger to the Hired stage of your job template in Teamtailor.
If you have Spaces enabled in Humaans, you can choose which space employee data imports to from Teamtailor. If a space isn’t chosen, data will be imported to the default space.
Step 1 - Enabling Teamtailor integration in Humaans
To enable the integration, first open your Teamtailor account, and follow these steps:
Click your account in the top-right corner to open the dropdown menu.
Open Teamtailor Marketplace.
Click HR System, and then, select Humaans.
Click Activate.
Note: You may need to request access by emailing support@teamtailor.com.
You’ll be redirected to a screen displaying your integration key. Take note of this for later steps.
Click Finish installation.
Step 2 - Setting up job triggers in Teamtailor for Humaans
Click Jobs in the top navigation bar in Teamtailor.
Select a job role you want to import candidates from.
Click the three dots to open the menu options for the Hired stage.
Click Triggers.
Click Send Humaans candidate.
Repeat these steps for every job role you'd like to import to Humaans.
Alternatively, to save some time, update the Hired stage of your default job template to include the Send Humaans candidate trigger.
Note: The Send Humaans candidate trigger should only be added to the Hired stage of the job template.
Step 3 - Configuring your Teamtailor integration in Humaans
Complete the following steps in Humaans:
Click Integrations.
Click the ATS tab or scroll to find Teamtailor.
Open by clicking Configure.
To start the set-up, click Enable Teamtailor integration.
To establish the connection, in the Webhook key field, enter the integration key that you populated above in Step 1.
Click Save.
Moving forward, when a new employee is hired in Teamtailor, their data will be imported to a new hire profile in Humaans. This gives you a chance to review their information before adding them as an active member to Humaans.
Note: If an employee has already been added to Humaans before their status is changed to Hired in Teamtailor, they will be skipped and the data will remain the same in Humaans. This will be determined by their personal email address or candidate ID. You can track imports in the activity log.
Step 4 - Viewing which data imports from Teamtailor
To check which data is mapping from Teamtailor and where to in Humaans, click Configuration, and open the Mapping tab. Teamtailor data fields are displayed on the left-hand side and Humaans target fields are on the opposite side.
These data fields can’t be toggled on or off.
Note: Location syncs by matching the location name in Teamtailor to the Location label/city in Humaans. If no match is found, the location won’t be imported, and you can add it when creating the new hire.

Using the activity log
When a candidate’s status is changed to Hired in Teamtailor, this triggers the mapping of their data, which is recorded in the Logs section in Humaans. In Logs, you’ll see a list of all the imports from Teamtailor to Humaans. There are three import statuses, success, error, or skipped.
For example, an import is skipped if the candidate already exists as an active member in Humaans.
Step 5 - Selecting which Humaans space to import data to
Note: Please note that this step is only applicable if you have the Spaces feature enabled in Humaans.
If you have Spaces enabled in Humaans, you can choose which space employee data imports to from Teamtailor. If you have Spaces, but haven’t chosen a specific space, data will be imported to the default space.
Once the first connection is created between Humaans and Teamtailor, you’ll see the option to select a target space in Humaans for the data import. Follow these steps to set this up:
Click Integrations.
Click the ATS tab or scroll to find Teamtailor.
Open by clicking Configure.
Click Configuration in the left-side menu.
Under Humaans Space, select which target space you’d like employee data to sync with.
Click Save.
Adding and managing multiple connections
Once the first connection is created, you’ll see an option to add more in the bottom-left corner. Each connection can be configured independently with its own space settings. This means that you can disable/enable specific data points to import depending on the space.
For example, you have two companies within Humaans that each have their own space, Company A and Company B. If you hire a new employee through Teamtailor for Company B, you can ensure that their data maps to Company B’s space in Humaans. Similarly, you can also choose to map both Company A and B into the same space.
If two or more connections are established, a list of connections will be visible on opening the Teamtailor integration in Humaans for ease of management. If there’s only one connection, you won’t see this initial list page, but instead, will be directed to that specific connection’s information.
To remove a connection, open the specific connection and click Delete connection.
Adding new hires as active members to Humaans
When a prospect candidate’s status changes to Hired in Teamtailor, their data is mapped to Humaans automatically.
Hired candidates imported from Teamtailor will appear in the New hires tab in the People directory. This gives you a chance to review their information before adding them as an active member to Humaans.
To review the new hire’s information, click Add member.
