Managing your own time away
Updated over a week ago

In this guide, you'll learn how to book time away within Humaans, and how to use the Who's away dashboard to keep updated on your colleagues schedules.

Booking time away

You can book time off, sick leave or log working days by following these steps:

  • In the Home menu, click the Book time away button in the bottom left corner.

  • In the Register time away window, select the period of time you wish to book in the Period field. As you select dates, the system will tell you your remaining balance.

  • Choose the time away/working type in the Reason field.

  • Use the Note field to add any other information regarding the time away that are necessary.

  • Click Register time away to submit your request.

Using the Who's away dashboard

Booked PTO, along with colleagues approved Away and Working days, will appear in the Who’s away dashboard.

Away days where employees are not working are highlighted in orange while Working days are in blue. Your PTO days will be coloured purple. Pending PTO leave and Working days appear as outlines.

You can export the Who's away dashboard to your calendar with the help of this guide.
