Editing workflows
Updated over a week ago

In this guide, we'll discuss how you can edit an existing workflow and the implications of doing so.

Editing an existing Workflow template

You can edit a workflow with the following steps:

  • In the Home menu, click Workflows. click the desired workflow you wish to edit.

  • In the top right-hand corner, click Edit template.

  • Make any changes to tasks, sections or other actions. Changes are automatically saved.

  • When you're ready, click Leave.

What to expect after editing an existing template

When you edit an existing template, the updated version will apply to all new users that are added to the workflow; the updated version will not automatically get added to users that have been added to the workflow already.

If you want an employee to have the updated workflow, you have two options:

  • Archive and delete the user from the workflow, then re-add them to it. If needed, you can manually complete any tasks that had already been completed previously.

  • You can add in the new tasks/actions manually to the existing users workflow.
