Understand and Manage Credits

Use credits to generate custom content in Hypernatural

Updated this week

Credits are used in Hypernatural to generate custom visuals, animations, and premium narration when creating videos.

Understanding how credits work can help you better plan your videos and manage usage.

What’s the difference between the Free plan and paid plans?

Hypernatural offers a Free plan and paid plans. On the Free plan you can create videos using Stock Mode only.

Free plan limits:

  • Videos up to 30 seconds

  • Stock images only

  • Standard (non-premium) narration

  • Videos can only be exported directly to social platforms

Credits are not available or usable on the Free plan because Custom Mode is not available.

Paid plans unlock:

  • Custom Mode

  • longer videos

  • premium narration

  • video downloads

  • advanced generation features

Credits are used when generating custom visuals, animations, and narration.

How many credits does a video use?

The number of credits used depends on the features used in your video.

Credits may be used for:

  • generating images

  • regenerating or editing images

  • generating premium narration

  • animating images

Videos with more scenes, animation, or premium narration will use more credits.

Estimate your video cost

If you'd like a quick estimate before generating, try the credit cost calculator. It estimates the initial generation cost based on video length, narration type, and visuals.

I ran out of credits. How do I get more credits?

Users on paid plans can

What happens if I run out of credits?

If you run out of credits, you won’t be able to generate additional Custom Mode content until you obtain more credits. To continue generating videos, you can:

Upgrading to a plan with a higher credit allotment will immediately provide additional credits for the remainder of your current billing cycle on a prorated basis.

For example, if you upgrade from a plan that includes 1,000 monthly credits to a plan with 4,000 credits, you will receive the difference in credits based on the time remaining in your billing cycle.

When will I get more credits?

Credits refresh automatically when your subscription renews.

  • Monthly plans: credits refresh every month

  • Annual plans: credits refresh every year

Credits are added to your account once the billing renewal is processed.

Do unused credits roll over?

Yes. Unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle as long as your subscription remains active.

Credits do not expire while your subscription remains active.

I didn’t like the content that was generated. Can I get my credits back?

Credits are used whenever content is generated. Because generative video technology is still evolving, results may not always perfectly match your prompt.

For this reason, credits cannot be refunded for generated content, even if you decide not to use the output.

Why didn’t my credits refresh?

Credit refresh issues are usually caused by billing problems.

Please check the following:

  • Are you logged in using the same email associated with your subscription?

  • Did your most recent subscription payment complete successfully?

  • Did you spend credits after your renewal date?

If the issue continues, please contact support:

How can I optimize my credit usage?

Credit usage depends on:

  • video length

  • number of scenes

  • narration type

  • animation

  • image regeneration

To reduce credit usage:

  • use Stock Mode for quick videos

  • animate only key scenes

  • avoid unnecessary image regenerations

  • use standard narration instead of premium narration when possible

You can also generate your video first with basic settings and then selectively enhance specific scenes. You can estimate your own initial generation cost using the credit cost calculator.

I cancelled my paid subscription but still have credits, what can I do?

While your credits do not expire, they cannot be used without an active paid subscription.

Without a paid plan, Custom Mode features are not available.

On the Free plan you can still create:

  • 30-second videos

  • Stock images only

  • Standard narration

  • Export directly to social platforms

Downloading videos or generating Custom Mode content requires a paid subscription.
