Hypernatural gives you separate model choices for images and animation. You can find both in the model picker in the prompt box before generating.
The simple choice: Auto
If you're not sure which model to pick, leave it on Auto. It's the default for every new project. Auto automatically weighs cost and quality for you, so you don't have to think about which specific model to use. We evaluate models regularly and update what Auto points to as better options become available.
This applies to both image and animation models independently: Auto is the default for each, and you never have to make the choice up front.

If you want to make the tradeoff yourself, open the model picker and choose from our full list including options like Flux and Nano for images, and Kling, Veo, and Seedance for animation.
Each model shows its credit cost so you can weigh quality against price before generating.
How to choose
Not sure, or don't want to think about it → leave it on Auto
Want the cheapest possible option for a quick, low-cost draft → open the model picker and pick the lowest-credit-cost model yourself. Auto balances in quality too, so it won't always pick the cheapest one.
Want a specific look or feature, like a model that generates its own background audio → pick that model by name
A note on credits
Higher quality models cost more credits per shot. Auto balances cost and quality automatically, but if you're generating a longer video or experimenting with multiple versions and want to spend as little as possible, pick the cheapest individual model by hand instead of relying on Auto.
The model picker shows each option's credit cost, so the cheapest one is easy to spot.
