AI animation generates a real video clip from your still image, with natural movement, lip-sync for dialogue, and optional background audio. This costs credits and uses the animation model you've selected.
Use the shot
Click the shot in the storyboard or timeline — it's dropped into chat as @ShotN, with an Animate suggestion chip above the message box for one-click access.
Or use the ⋯ menu — hover the shot, open the ⋯ menu, and click Animate.
Either way, the chat pre-fills with Animate @ShotN: and either reuses the shot's saved Animate & Dialogue Prompt or suggests one for you.
Edit the prompt if you want — describe the motion, camera movement, and any dialogue together
Check or change the animation model in the chat's model picker before sending (see Animation and audio)
