Navigating the risk module

The Risk Register provides consistency in helping you identify and assess risks, as well as plan strategic responses to mitigate those risks.

Depending on the size of your organization, you might manage multiple compliance frameworks, each with a considerable amount of risks. All of these risks have data associated with them, such as the description of the risk, the date the risk was identified, the individual who identified it, where the risk came from, and the consequences of the risk if it’s not addressed.

Hyperproof's Risk Register captures all of this data—and more—in one location. In the Risk Register, you'll find different snapshots of your risk data so that you can easily determine which risks need to be dealt with immediately.

Within the risk module, we can create risks, mitigate our controls for our risks, and monitor our risks via the risk dashboard. In this video tutorial, we'll go over how to navigate within your risk module and also how to create a risk in Hyperproof.

Note: The risk module has been updated in Hyperproof. The risk module now has the ability to hold multiple risk registers. To learn more about standing up multiple risk registers, you can view this in the next section, "Risk Registers".

The tutorial below is shown in the administrator role with organizational permission as a manager in Hyperproof. If you are in another role in Hyperproof or have a different permission, you may not have access to some of these areas shown, or they may be greyed out. Note, as a risk owner, you will not have to worry about importing a risk.
