When a user gets to the default "Sign in" page and needs to have their Hyperproof password reset, they can select "Forgot your password?".
(This is the standard "Sign in" page when not using SSO)
The user will enter their email address:
and then press "Reset password"
The user will be sent an email to continue the password reset process:
Important note:
*** The user has one hour before the link "Reset password" expires. ***
If the user waits longer than one hour, they will see the following error message when "Reset password" is selected:
If "Reset password" is selected before the link expires in one hour, then the following screen will be displayed:
Enter your new password in the two fields, and then select "Change password".
If the password is the same in both fields, then you will get a confirmation window indicating that the password reset was successful:
You can then "Sign In" with your updated password.
If you waited longer than one hour after receiving the email to reset your password, then you will need to start the process over and select "Forgot your password" again.
