Why am I getting an access denied error at login?

This article provides an explanation for why someone might see an access denied error when attempting to log into a Hyperproof organization.

If you cannot access Hyperproof and see this error:
"Access denied. Please check your network settings and try again from an authorized location", it may indicate that your "organization has enabled an IP allowlist" as an extra security measure, and your IP address is not included on that list.

How to resolve:

  1. Contact your organization’s administrator and ask them to add your IP address to the allowlist.

  2. To find your IP address:
    - Go to https://whatismyipaddress.com/
    - Look for your "IPv4" value.

3. Provide this IPv4 address to your administrator so they can update the allowlist.
