If you're looking for instructions on how to collect a .har file for troubleshooting a bug report, follow these steps to capture network activity in your browser's developer tools (also known as the Inspector). This file helps our Engineering team understand what is happening in the background when an error occurs.

Opening the Inspector Window

  • Mac OS: Press Option + Command + I

  • Windows OS: Press F12

Steps to collect a .har File

  1. Open the Inspector and select the Network tab.

  2. Click the Clear network log button (a circle with a slash through it) at the top left.

  3. Leave the Inspector panel open.

  4. Reproduce the error in Hyperproof.

  5. Once the error has occurred, go back to the Inspector and click the Export HAR button (a down arrow with a line under it).

  6. Send the .har file to Support through your support case by emailing support@hyperproof.io.

Note: If the .har file is large, you may need to compress it into a .zip file before sending it to Support.
