You can export only the fields you need from the controls grid by customizing your view first.
Steps to export select fields:
Open Controls.
Click Settings to customize your grid view.
Toggle on or off the fields you want to include in your export.
Select your control.
Click Export and choose the XLSX option.
The resulting export file will contain only the fields you toggled on. After exporting, return to Settings and restore any fields you had toggled off.
