You can create scope assignments on a control and then assign issues to specific scopes within that control.

Step 1: Create scope assignments on the control

  1. Go to Controls.

  2. Click +New control.

  3. Create your control (for example, TCE).

  4. Open your control.

  5. From the overflow menu ("…"), click Scope assignments.

  6. Select multiple scopes and save.

Step 2: Assign an issue to a scope from the control

  1. Open your control.

  2. Click a particular scope.

  3. Go to the Issues tab.

  4. Create an issue just for that scope.

Step 3: Assign an issue to a scope from Work Items

  1. Go to Work Items.

  2. Click the Issues tab.

  3. Click +New.

  4. Click +Add source.

  5. Select the Expand Scopes box.

  6. Search for your control.

  7. Select a particular scope on that control, click Link, then click Create.

Result:
When you return to your control, you will see the issues you created for individual scopes, both from "Work Items" and from "Controls."
