Scenario
When we created a user in Hyperproof, we misspelled their first name. I can't seem to find a way to edit it. I can't deactivate them and make a new user because it would be the same e-mail address.
Solution
Any user who is not a contact must change their own name by logging into Hyperproof and editing their profile. Instructions to make the change are as follows:
Have the user log in.
In the upper right of the page, click their avatar / picture.
Click Edit Profile as shown in the example below.
In the Update profile window, they can change their first name, last name, and title.
When finished editing, click Save.
Hyperproof administrators can change Contacts' names, as Contacts are not able to log in. Instructions to make the change are as follows:
A Hyperproof Admin must go to Settings.
Click the People tab.
Hover your cursor over the contact's name to get a pencil icon.
Click the pencil icon as shown in the example below.
Edit the contact's name.
When finished editing, click Ok.
