If you're trying to deactivate a Hyperproof user and stop their notifications, here’s what you need to know:

Deactivating a user in Hyperproof

  • Hyperproof cannot deactivate users directly. Due to security considerations, we ask that the user contacts an administrator within their Hyperproof organization to make this change.

  • The administrator should:

    1. Go to Settings > People in Hyperproof.

    2. Click Deactivate next to the user's name.

    3. (Optional) Use the "Assign their work to" dropdown to reassign any active work to another user.

    4. Click Deactivate. This will stop the user from receiving notifications related to their work.

Note

If the user is a member of multiple Hyperproof organizations (e.g., production and sandbox), each user account must be deactivated separately in each environment.

Unsubscribing from status page updates

To stop receiving outage or system update notifications from Hyperproof’s status pages, the user can unsubscribe directly by clicking the "Manage your subscription" link from the Hyperproof product update email, e.g.:
