If you see an "Action Required" badge on your upcoming scheduled call page it means that the Event location (Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams) link wasn't generated properly, so it's not added to the confirmation email or Google calendar invite.
Important Notes
When an Event Static Link is selected, the "Action Required" badge will never show since the link is always present and requires no meeting connection/integration.
Here's what you need to do to fix it:
#1 -Add the link manually
First thing you need to do is to make sure that leads who scheduled a call with the host know where to join the meeting. Here's how to add the location link to the call manually:
Click on the scheduled call that shows "Action Required" badge
Warning message in yellow will show, with the empty checkbox with message:
"I have shared the Google Meet link with the invitee"
βTo dismiss a message, click on the checkbox for new popup window to appear
There will be two options available:
To add the Google Meet or Zoom meeting link manually and save by clicking on the "Update Link" button
To dismiss the warning message by clicking on "Save without link"
(not advisable since the lead will not have the meeting link unless you've sent it via email or SMS manually)
Here's a quick video tutorial on how to add Google Meet link manually.
Connect your Google Meet, Micorsoft Teams or Zoom
After you've updated all upcoming calls where meeting location link was missing, connect Google Meet, Teams or Zoom to prevent this from happening in the future.
Both meeting locations can be connected in the
AI Scheduler - Calendar Connections page:
Google Meet - by connecting Google Calendar with iClosed for:
Generating Google Meet links
Storing iClosed events in the connected Google Calendar
For sending email notifications from the same Google domain
Zoom - Connecting your Zoom account with iClosed at the bottom of the page
