Icons8 Threedio is a tool that provides 3D models for motion design. We offer a collection of over 800 subdivision-ready models, which can be downloaded in a common FBX format.

FBX files contain both geometry and texture information. To recolor an FBX image, you'll need to modify the texture or material associated with the model in a 3D modeling app.

How to recolor Threedio 3D files:

  1. Open the FBX file using a 3D modeling or animation software that supports FBX files (e.g., Blender, Maxon, Maya, 3ds Max, Unity, Unreal Engine).

  2. Locate the material assigned to the object you want to recolor. This might be in a dedicated materials panel or within the object's properties.

  3. If the material uses a texture, you can edit the texture image to change the colors. Most 3D software has tools for painting or editing textures.

  4. You might also need to adjust the material's properties, such as its color, opacity, or surface finish, in addition to the texture.

  5. Once you're satisfied with the changes, export the FBX file again to save the recolored model.

💡The steps might vary, so check the software's instructions or look for tutorials online.
