Overview

Tobe Builder is "Task Centric". That is, the Task you are working on in the top left breadcrumb and the selected task will also be highlighted with a green rectangle in the timeline.

For data integrity, date information can only be changed in the software where the Task was created. If created in VB (Task or SubTask) you can edit dates here in VB, but if you imported the programme from Asta, MS Project or Primavera, you have to change the dates there and re-import the program.

Task Inspector

Similar to the selection inspector for objects within the scene, the task inspector populates will all relevant information for the selected task, and its associated entitles.

BIM Links

This section displays information regarding which elements of a BIM model are linked to a task.

This allows you to link geometry that is being worked on during a task to be displayed and made permit during and after the task respectively.

Model geometry can be linked to a task in 3 ways;

Search Set Links: Are BIM property searches to automatically select and link elements based on properties within their metadata.

Manual Links: Are elements selected manually via, click, lasso or hierarchy selection.

IFC links: are specific to linking done in Asta Powerproject either as searches or selections. Users must convert their searches into selections before uploading to Tobe Builder.

Budget

This section displays a tasks budget that is linked to an Asta, MSP or P6 programme.

The Budget shows the Type Rate and total cost of different resources and catagories of the budget.

This can be compared with the actual resource allocations to the Task shown in the Resources panel, the total of which can be seen bottom right.

Relationships

This tab displays the relationships that the current task has to other tasks in the Programme.

It will show a tasks predecessor and successors, along with the basic information for that Task.
