The Immersion platform provides a lot of power for monitoring participant progress and participation. There are 3 primary reasons you may want to monitor participants:
1. Monitoring participants before an experience to see who may need help
1a: login to your Immersion account, click the experience of interest from your dashboard, and go to the ‘Setup’ tab! This sweet little tab lets you monitor the progress of your participants as they move through clicking the shareable link, app install, or adding the Experience Code to their mobile account.
1b: On this page, you’ll see a section labeled 'Participant Device Connectivity', which will list everyone you invited through the Immersion platform. It will also include anyone who clicked the shareable link as well as anyone who has entered the experience code in their mobile app. You'll also see columns with information where anyone is in the process of participating in your experience. You can use this information to help anyone who might be stuck on a step. Sorry low-tech friends, flip phones aren't supported...
Terms to know in the columns section
Nerdy tip 1: In the section at the upper right labeled ‘Measurement Status’, you can click the ‘Add Participants’ button to invite more people or to grab the shareable invite link!
Nerdy tip 2: At the top of the tab, you’ll see detail about the experience length, as well as the Start and End Date. Wanna shift the timing? Hover over the box on the left with experience detail and click the pencil to edit!
2. Monitoring participants during a live experience to see who is successfully sending data
When a live experience measurement is 'In Progress', that means it's started and anyone who started data collection should be sending data to the Immersion platform. You can actively see who is sending data, who has not started data collection, and who may need some help by visiting the 'Setup' tab!

Terms to know in the "Last Step"; It differs between 2 types of experiences
Experience 1: Live Experience Measurement
Experience 2: Pre-Recorded Experience Measurement
3. Monitoring participants during a live experience to see live data output
3a: When a live experience is In Progress, you can see second-by-second data stream into the platform in real-time through the “Second-by-Second” tab.
3b: You can use notes to mark up the data or simply watch it gloriously flow in. There will be an average of your participants’ data at the top of the “Second-by-Second” page, and you have the option to look at the individual participant data as well.
3c: Individual data is anonymized by the use of a unique identifier. If you're in a live experience and individuals give you the approval to show their data, they can access their unique code through their app by visiting 'Settings', clicking on 'Devices', and noting the alphanumeric code that appears before their device specifications.
