Why is an Agenda Useful?

Adding an agenda to your Live Experience allows you to immediately understand which parts captivated the audience and which parts drove disengagement. The more detailed the agenda, the more information you will have to discern when information was absorbed and when the audience would benefit from a follow-up.

The Immersion platform automatically provides color-coded readouts for agenda items on the Report Card tab. This lets you quickly provide presenter feedback and offers an optimization map for future experiences.

Adding an Agenda during Live Experience Set Up

When setting up a Live Experience, one of the steps gives you an opportunity to add an agenda. You can manually input events in chronological order by typing in the text box and clicking "+ agenda item" below for the next item. Alternatively, you can upload an Excel CSV of your agenda. Click the button to the right of the "Upload CSV" button to download a template!

As a note, you're only asked for agenda names at this stage, since we know specific agenda timing can be hard to estimate! The platform will equally distribute the agenda items, and you can easily adjust agenda timing in the Second-by-Second tab after the measurement. For more information on using the Second-by-Second tab, head here.

Nerdy tip: Not sure what the agenda will be yet? No worries! You can always add an agenda after the experience is complete.

What if I Don't Enter an Agenda?

If you decide to not enter an agenda, the platform will automatically break down your experience into a Beginning, Middle, and End section. The agenda is color-coded and Immersion scores for each section are provided in the Report Card tab. If two or more minutes of data are collected for a section, psychological safety for each agenda section will also appear here.

Can I Add Agenda Items After the Experience?

ABSOLUTELY!!! Not only can you add agenda items...you can also easily edit agenda times!

Agenda labels can be easily edited from the Report Card tab - simply scroll to the 'Agenda' section and click the blue 'Edit Agenda' button to the right above the section. You can then manually add agenda elements by double-clicking into the text field, clicking the edit icon, or uploading a CSV agenda list.

Nerdy tip: We recommend first adding all agenda items and then editing the time of these. Adding new agenda items will redistribute all agenda elements equally across the experience.

You can also easily edit text and agenda item duration in the Second-by-Second tab. In this tab, you should see your previously made agenda items distributed horizontally below the chart. Rename agenda items by clicking the check on the top of the box, then selecting the text you would like to edit. To edit the agenda item duration, simply click the check-mark at the top of the item you wish to change, then pull on either end of the time box to enlarge or shorten the time period. Click the check at the top of the box once you are done editing! Please note that you may not have gaps in time between agenda items.

As you change the duration of agenda items, the platform will automatically recalculate Immersion and Psychological Safety scores for each part of the agenda, so you can immediately see on the Report Card which parts of the content connected most strongly with the audience, and which parts drove disengagement.
