When adding a video to an experience, whether it is a pre-recorded or live experience, we recommend using a link from YouTube or Vimeo service because these sites are built for handling the processing and playback of video.
If you would like to upload the video to our website from your computer for one reason or another, you are welcome to do that, but we recommend keeping the video size under 200 MB. Videos over 200 MB might struggle in video playback depending on the computing process power (CPU) of the device playing the video. Videos that are too large can cause playback issues such as skipping, mismatching in audio and video, or an inability to see the video at all.
If you find that your video is too large, there are software services you can download or use online to reduce the file size of the video. We recommend a software called Handbreak, in which you can reduce file size based on the Rate Factor (RF) to decrease the video size. For 1080p High Definition, it is recommended not to go lower than 20 RF. If you find this quality or video size to be too low for your needs, we again recommend posting your video unlisted to YouTube or Vimeo.
