We’ve been asked to implement this feature for cases when disabled people are asking church team members to post prayer requests or praise reports on their behalf, or when transferring old posts into the new prayer wall, as well as other similar use cases.
To do that, please log in to your admin from your desktop computer (not mobile)
How to login into the prayer wall admin?, go to section Prayers
After click “Add Prayer Request” or alternatively, if you need to create many users and posts, then we suggest creating new users first by clicking “Create New User”
Click on the toggler “Post on behalf of another user”
If a user is already registered in your database, then find that user in the Search tab
Make sure to add a profile picture for that user. You can drag and drop the user's profile picture in the photo area or click on it to pick the image to upload.
If a user does not have a profile in the database, then click to add that user to your database.
Enter the user's information and profile picture and click "Create". Use the tab button on your keyboard to switch between fields. Click "Create" or if you need to add more users, click "Create New User"
The new user you have added will receive a welcome email, just as a profile registration confirmation (you can edit this email in the general Prayer settings interface). No action is required on your or the user's side.
Fill in the information in the “Create New Post” interface. When you click “Save” the post will be published live on your prayer wall. No other moderation will be required for the posts created from the admin interface. In the case of manual moderation, these posts will be approved automatically.
See the steps users will need to take to access their profile later on!
If the user you are adding later decides to use the prayer wall by themself, they can go to the prayer wall widget, click on the “Profile” tab
and click “Log In”
and click “Forgot password”
After entering the email address you used when creating their account, and click “Reset”
they will be asked to enter a four-digit code that was sent to their email
This is how that email looks like (just in case case)
After entering a 4-digit code, they will be asked to create a new password for their account.
After clicking “Done” the user will be logged into the prayer wall and have access to all the settings as a registered user.
