How the Mobile App Proximity Rule Triggers (Staff View)
Imploy enforces location-aware verification at the point of care via the staff mobile application:
The 100-Meter Rule: When a support worker taps "Check In" on their mobile device, the app analyses their live GPS coordinates relative to the client’s registered home address.
The Proximity Exception Popup: If the system detects that the employee is further than 100 meters away from the client site, it automatically intercepts the request with a Distance Check-in Alert.
Mandatory Reason Logging: To proceed with the check-in, the worker is forced to provide accountability documentation inline by typing a clear explanation explaining why they are starting the shift remotely (e.g., "Running an errand for client first" or "Work from home").
How Administrators Audit the Data (Web App View)
1. Locating Distance Check-ins
From the sidebar
To review flagged proximity notes from your scheduling board, navigate to Roster, click on an active or past shift block, and check the right-hand Appointment sidebar:
Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar to find the dedicated Distance Check-ins module.
The card displays the worker's name alongside the exact justification text they typed into their mobile app.
From the Home Dashboards
For a centralised overview of all location discrepancies across the organization, administrators can utilize the main dashboard.
2. Launching the Route Map Verification
Click the View Map button directly on the distance check-in summary card.
The platform will instantly launch the interactive Distance Check-in Map modal layout.
Audit the Variance: The map renders a blue route path connecting the coordinate point where the employee clicked check-in (the red pin) to the actual client home destination (the blue pin).
Check the Precision Odometer: Look at the top status banner to view the automatic calculation showing the exact distance discrepancy (e.g., 18.6 km from appointment).
